Directions for Intake:

• Paxil is taken orally, as often as indicated in the prescription of your doctor
• It is usually taken once every morning
• Finish the entire amount that was prescribed even after beginning to feel better
• Take any missed dose as soon as it is remembered. However, do not double the dosage of your medication at any particular assigned time
• In case of overdosing, seek medical attention immediately

Directions for Storage:

• Store this medication in a place away from moist, light and extreme heat
• The appropriate temperature for the storage area is between 59 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit or 15 to 30 degrees Celsius
• Also choose a storage area that is not easily accessible to children

Precautions:

• Consult your doctor before taking Paxil. Make sure to give your doctor a complete background of your medical history
• Inform your physician of any previous experience of having liver problems, kidney problems, seizures, heart problems, other mental/mood disorders (e.g., bipolar disorder), thyroid problems, and any allergies
• This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Activities that require you to be alert (i.e. driving or operating heavy machineries) should be avoided
• Limit alcoholic beverages while taking this medication
• The elderly may be more sensitive to the effects of Paxil
• If you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, consult your doctor before taking Paxil
• If you are lactating, it may be harmful to use Paxil
