Acyclovir is a prescription antiviral medication used in certain patients to treat outbreaks of herpes simplex on the skin (mouth, lips, genitals, anus), outbreaks of shingles (herpes zoster), and chickenpox.

- Store this medication in a place away from moist, light and extreme heat
- The appropriate temperature for the storage area is between 59 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit or 15 to 30 degrees Celsius
- Also choose a storage area that is not easily accessible to children
Precautions:
